At A & D Builders customer satisfaction is one of our high priorities. We believe that the customers should be at the heart of all operations. For this reason we work closely with the customer throughout the whole process, consistently seeking feedback to ensure that they are happy with the work we are carrying out. We have a preliminary meeting with the client where they are able to discuss with us different options for their repairs, for example picking out colours and tiles. When booking in appointments we look for customers in the same area and do these around the same time as this helps to eliminate travel time and maximises the time we spend conducting the work which reduces the overall turn over time. In the event of a complaint we always take the customers opinions seriously and aim to rectify where we can. We seek guidance from the customer in regards to what they are not happy with and what they would like us to change. Once we have established what needs doing, we put an action plan in place to correct the issue and aim to attend to these needs as soon as possible.
Before conducting any work our team are briefed on what is expected for the project. We clearly outline every detail of the project and set high expectations for what we and the customer are looking for once the project is finished. To ensure that these are expectations are abided by myself or Dean regularly drop by the site to assess the work which is being carried out. In the event that we are not happy with any of the work which has been done, we speak directly to the staff member responsible for that task and clearly state where they have gone wrong and what they need to do to rectify it. We keep records of incidents where we have been unhappy with something and then on our next visit to the site we check to make sure the alterations have been carried out to the highest level. In regards to materials myself and Dean visit multiple warehouses and suppliers to gather information on the quality of the products. We then assess each material to ensure that it is of the highest quality before purchase. When transporting the materials we ensure that it is done so safely and efficiently to avoid any damages, in the event of any damages then we always seek to replace the product with either the same one or one of an equal quality.
When carrying out the work we always aim, where possible, to recycle as much as we can. We do this by categorising the waste which is collected to make it simpler for us to dispose of. We also try where possible to use our materials efficiently and aim to use some materials over the course of a few jobs to ensure that waste is minimalised. However some materials are not widely recyclable and in this instance we always ensure that all waste is collected by us and disposed of at a registered waste disposal site. On leaving the premises we do thorough checks to ensure that all waste is disposed of and everything is as we left it. As a company we aim to avoid the use of hazard chemicals and instead look for more sustainable and safer alternatives.
